[[Cleaning and posting this bit by bit <3]]
<RosedIllusions> Dalamar was seated in his cluttered office, weither it be paper, books, or some queer oddbob, his floor was covered. The Drow was seated behind his desk, lounging back lazily as he read a tome, the book in one hand and a glass of red wine in the other. The only thing lighting the room was a single candle. This whole city was to bright for him, to bad the tower couldn't be off in some darker place...
<BlindTaleTeller> The naga was a little nervous, and quiet as a result. He thanked the teacher for showing him the way as they came to the door. He hadn't explored much of the grounds due to the storm and then the brief trip back to Sienne after, as the snow had put a big halt on his going much of anywhere. Naga weren't made much for inching along in snow, even of the water variety. But he had enjoyed the time indoors. He knocked on the door with one hand, the other moving to the handle ready to open it. " Hello? " He'd bothered with one of his better tunics, and had his bag with him just in case.
<RosedIllusions> A soft sigh excaped the drow and he saved his spot in the book with a nearby page keeper before putting it aside. "Come in." Dalamar huffed, placing his drink down as well, putting his chin on laced fingers.
<BlindTaleTeller> Peeking his head in first, Drax left the door open in part because his arms weren't nearly as long as his tail and; he didn't know how long he would be in the room. His working eye followed along the clutter briefly, a little smile working up for all the books and curious items around the room before it caught on Dalamar. " Pardon the intrusion. I was told to speak to Arch Mage Dalamar, about enrolling? "
<RosedIllusions> Dalamar gave the naga a long look, cocking a silver eyebrow in his light surprise. He hadn't expected this to come walking...Slithering? Through his door. After a long moment, the mage finally spoke up, "That is correct. You are?" It had been some time sense the last person who had come to be taught here.
<BlindTaleTeller> For a moment he hesitated answering, rubbing the back of his neck. " Drax. Gamble.. the third. My father started enrollment decades ago but, I wasn't able to attend then.. " a brief intake of breath. " Due to circumstances that had cropped up at the time. " another moment's pause and he requested quickly. " I would very much appreciate it if you didn't make any attempt to contact him about my prior enrollment.. if you don't mind sir. "
<RosedIllusions> Another long pause before Dalamar spoke up again, "Drax..." He didn't bother with going for 'Mr.Gamble' last names were not needed and annoying to say at times, "Do you join because you enjoy the arcane feel, or simply because of your father?" He purred faintly with the first part of the sentance, not bothering to answer the snakes plead before getting his own question answered first.
<BlindTaleTeller> Drax was a little uneasy that he hadn't answered his request yet: and the slight, defensive coil of his tail around the lowest part of him along with a very slight raise to his posture gave that away at the moment. " I've always enjoyed my gifts. I've gone as far as I can just on what information and practice I could manage. I've always wanted to attend. I just haven't had the opportunity or resources to do so myself until now. "
